Chocolate, no question. xD While I can't live without my mobile phone, I'd definitely be okay if I didn't have chocolate again for the rest of my life.

Still in the process of moving. I'm pretty far along in it, though. The only things left in my room are the pieces of furniture I'm going to donate or try and sell. On Sunday, my dad and I moved pretty much everything else in my room, and some of the stuff in the living room, to my brand new storage unit. Of course, I wanted to be completely moved out by now, but... hey. At least I'm farther along than I had expected.

In other news, I'm sick again. Wtfuck. I started feeling bad on Sunday, and I don't think moving furniture all day helped any. I left work early yesterday to try and rest for a bit; I'm so glad that I have an awesome and understanding boss. <3

I also went to see The Princess and the Frog with brakish Tuesday night. It was just as cute the second time! I already want to see it again. Maybe I will, after I finish getting everything moved. :|

When I went to go pick up brakish for the movie, her brother had his gift for me. I wasn't expecting anything from him, so it was quite the surprise! According to her, he was all nervous and stuff about me coming over and worried about his appearance. xD Little things like that make me believe that I still could have a chance with him, if he ever becomes single again. Of course, I'm probably just dreaming, but... it's nice to know that I can still have a romantic interest in someone, especially after all of these years.

Since I probably won't update again until after Christmas, happy holidays to those who celebrate it! It started snowing in Colorado last night and didn't let up until about five or six hours ago, so we're going to enjoy a white Christmas this year.

Today was really productive!

I hung out with rydiafantasy after I finished work. :D After grabbing dinner at Noodles, we hit a few places to find some holiday gifts. I got my sister one of the things I was hoping to get her, so I can almost cross her off my list.

I've also been busy packing. My room is completely packed, save my clothes and alarm clock... things like that. Now I need to start on the living room, which I'm not looking forward to.

I'm planning on seeing The Princess and the Frog tomorrow, which I'm excited for. :D I've been waiting months for it to come out. Then on Saturday I'm taking Doodles to the vet, finishing up holiday shopping (hopefully) and seeing Fug's stupid band play. On Sunday is the Solstice party.

I don't know how my weekends keep getting so busy.

So, I went and took Doodles to the vet today. She needed to have a vaccination, a general exam and a fecal test. She seems to be fine for the most part, but she does have an eye AND ear(s) infection. Poor baby. It's bad enough having one; I can't imagine having an infection in both my ears and my eye at the same time. Giving her the medicine for this is incredibly painful for all parties involved, and she's totally mad at both me and hyper_amychao right now. xD

Because of the extra medication and stuff, the bill for her visit ended up being almost $160. And I have to take her back in two weeks so they can make sure she's doing okay. :| Having a pet isn't cheap, man.

Speaking of money, I was productive and did more of my holiday shopping! I finished up my mother, Ana, and Nic, and started on Gerardo. So, that just leaves him, my dad, my sister, Shannon, Joe, Kira, and my Secret Santa to shop for. :D I'm definitely proud of myself. We'll see how much money I have left after I finish everything, though.

Oh, that reminds me! sorcererhuntres, I went ahead and authorized the transfer yesterday, I think... either yesterday or Thursday. According to PayPal, I should have the money in there by the 7th. So, I'll transfer it as soon as it shows up, okay? <3

It's been a long day, so I think it's bedtime.

I haven't really updated in a long time. D: So, in case anyone's interested... here you go!

My birthday's come and gone, and it was mostly fun. I had a dinner with my friends on the 6th, since I was going to be in Boulder on my actual birthday. Everyone seemed to have a good time. :D Gerardo, Nic, Shannon, Kira, Jackie and myself ended up staying until Old C's closed because we were having fun talking to each other.

I went to see Regina Spektor with my sister on my birthday, and that was mostly fun. We did get into a fight early on in the night, however, and that made everything after that kind of awkward. It was over the stupidest thing, too, but... oh well.

School-wise. I ended up dropping Astronomy, since I couldn't learn anything from my online class. Which means I'm not graduating this semester. Instead, I'm going to take Meteorology and graduate in the spring (hopefully). Now we're on Thanksgiving break, which will be incredibly welcome.

I got Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles on Wednesday, but couldn't start playing it until Thursday night. I'm really happy that they were able to get back a lot of the actors to play their characters again, especially Leon's and Claire's. I mean, Alyson is the only one to have played Claire in English, so it would have been awkward to hear anyone else. I beat it last night, so now I'm going through and trying to find all of the files I missed the first time around.

Supernatural is going to kill me. :| No new episodes until January 21st? Augh! This last one ended so memorably, too. I don't know what I'm going to do if the CW does end up renewing it for a sixth season. Where can they possibly go from what's been going on in season five?

So, it's been a while since I updated this thing! Halloween came and went without incident, and now we're into November!

October ended with an almost blizzard, Tina is broken again (sob), and November's actually been pretty good so far. We're having summer weather; today was up to about 73 or 75, and tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer. That's good, seeing as how tomorrow is my birthday and I want to have lovely weather to enjoy it in! :D

I went to see Rob Thomas in concert with my dad on the 27th, and I must say I'm very impressed. The guy played nearly two hours straight, and was engaging and funny while he was doing it. I have so much more respect for him and the other bands that played with him.

Speaking of concerts, I'm going down to Boulder tomorrow to see Regina Spektor with my little sister. Hopefully that will be a good show!

All right, time to go do some girly things and get ready for my birthday dinner tonight, and enjoy my second viewing of the episode of Supernatural that was on last night.

After a few days of unsuccessfully trying to install the copy of Windows 7 I purchased, I've decided to give up for now and go back to Vista. xD When and if I decide to install it again, I may need to take my laptop to Best Buy or some other professional so they can see what's exactly wrong with my computer.

Anyway! Not much has been happening... school sucks. I'm totally rebelling against my online class, which is bad. I need it to graduate and move on. But I'm finding out that I really need classroom contact and an actual instructor to learn from. :| I'm thinking about dropping it and just putting off my graduation from Front Range for another semester, so I can go ahead and take it on campus. I'll look and see if I can drop it now and get a refund.

Speaking of money, we got our quarterly bonuses on Friday! 8D That was quite a blessing, seeing as how I was in desperate need of funds. I put $500 in my savings account, which is over half of my bonus, and placed the rest in my checking. Hopefully that $500 will stay there, unless I have an emergency and need to spend it.

Rob Thomas concert on Tuesday and the Regina Spektor concert on my birthday! I swear, I've been to more concerts in the last month than I have all year. ALH also had their first public Fort Collins performance last night. Despite a few sound problems, they sounded great! Everyone in the crowd really had an awesome time, it seems like.

Man. My birthday's in less than two weeks, and I still have no idea what I want to do for it.

Oh, Colorado. xD You have such crazy weather. Yesterday, before the concert the weather was beautiful. Sunny, warm... if I had to guess, I'd say it was around 60 or 65 degrees. When we were standing in line for the doors of the Gothic to open, it was getting a little chilly on account of the breeze. When we got out of the show... goddamn was it cold. xD It had been (and still was) snowing in Fort Collins, so we got to drive home in the first snow of the season. It only just stopped snowing a short while ago.

I heard someone say once that Colorado is great because you can experience all four seasons in a matter of a few days to a week. How very true.

But anyway. Last night was the KMFDM concert. :D I'm putting the events of the night under a cut, since I think it's going to be really long.

In other news, shopping was fun! I found some pants for about $7.00, six pairs of socks for about $3.00, and the latest NANA manga. :D Dinner was delicious, and it was all around a good day!

I should really start studying for my Art History test on Tuesday... man. I don't want to, though. I'll do it later.

I think it's sad that I just got paid yesterday and I already have no money left over. Of course, my C/C payment is due before we get paid again, so I had to take care of that with this paycheck. Otherwise, I would have had plenty left over.

Hmmm. I think I'll find something to do.

Back from NDK. 8D I'm going to have to make this short, since I'm tired and about ready to go to bed.

Pictures are coming. I have about 45 of them to post, so I'm definitely not getting to them tonight. But all of them turned out really great!

I had a lot of fun this weekend. The con itself was bleh; definitely not the best I've been to. However, it was nice to get away from work and school and be with my friends. It was especially nice to see some who I haven't seen since Wasabi back in March.

But yay, I met my goal of 300 posts about nine days before my deadline.

I'm tired. I think I may go to bed... or go to the store.

Last night, I went to see Star Trek with brakish and hyper_amychao. I hadn't wanted to see it since it came out, since I'm not really into the whole live action sci-fi stuff. However, I will say that I was pretty impressed by it! I probably won't see it again in theaters, unless I go with another group, but I'll probably end up watching it on DVD once or twice. I thought that the reboot was really well done.

I also went to see Plasmacrash with brakish on Friday! I think they get better every time I see them. Joe only played three songs of their set, since he's still not feeling well, but those three songs he played with them sounded the best. Elite was a really awesome band, too, even though I was only able to stay for about two songs of their set. I want to see them again, all the way through.

Work was a total pain in the ass last week. We had Monday off, so that caused a lot of our work to pile up. I ended up working straight through, from 8-4 (and 7-almost 4:30 on Friday) without taking a lunch and just going home early in order to try and catch up from the weekend. And this next week is going to be even crazier, since I have to help one of my coworkers with one of her projects... and school also starts on Tuesday.

But! On a good note... I'm going to start riding my bike to work on the days that I don't have school, and I'm going to try and not drive as much as possible. So, if I need to go somewhere and it's within biking distance of the apartment, then I'm going to bike. I'm also going to buy a new iPod in June, since my old one isn't working. I'm also going to pay off my small bill and get that out of the way, before I start working on my loan. Hopefully, if I can stick to the budget that I've made for myself, I'll have my loan paid off by November/December. Then it's to work on my credit card debt.

This weekend isn't long enough! I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow. At least payday is on Wednesday. :D

Though, it's more of a personal/emotional nature, rather than a physical one. :D

I honestly feel like I was a shitty person during the 3+ years that I was in deep depression, and I'm surprised that my friends who went through that with me are still my friends. I think that the ones that are still with me know how deeply sorry I feel about it, and I think that'll haunt me for the rest of my life. It's something that I've been having to live with (and feel guilty over) ever since I got out of therapy back in September.

It's only now, after over six months of being out of therapy and facing up to my problems, that I realize that now is the time to fix things. I think that having certain people in my life during that difficult time would have helped me immensely, and I'm very sad that they're not a part of my life anymore. But now is the time to make amends, and reach out to them.

So, good job me! I started the ball rolling with two people that I've been missing very dearly. <3 I hope that this will turn out to be a positive thing. I think that this will continue the healing process and journey that I've been on for a long time. Even if the responses I get back aren't positive, at least I know that I can make peace with the fact that I tried to right some of the wrongs I've committed.

And on that note... time to go watch a little bit of Dawn of the Dead!

So, I saw the Dragonball movie last night with a few of my friends. xD It actually wasn't as bad as I had expected it to be! I really liked Bulma (who was played by Emmy Rossum... wtf) and Yamcha. Goku was pretty bad, and I was definitely amused to see Chow-Yun Fat as Master Roshi. I probably won't own it, but I'd likely see it again if I had the chance. The new Harry Potter trailer was also playing before the movie, and that was awesome. I can't wait for July. x3

Tonight, Shannon, Jason, Joe and I are also going to this concert called Video Games Live. The Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra is going to be performing orchestral pieces from different video games. That is going to be so kickass! I hope that they something from the Resident Evil series, but something tells me that's not going to happen.

The weather here has been so odd lately. It was nice for the first half of the week, until Thursday. It started raining this really cold rain, and by Friday it had turned into this really weird slushy rain/snow. That stopped yesterday, but it was still really cold and wet. Today, it's all sunshine and warmth. Wtf, Colorado weather? xD

I bought a few new books yesterday. I finished one, and am about a third of the way through my other one. However, I can't read any more of it until I get through Parakiss and work on my Arashi application for clairbourn. xo Ana and I have been talking about RP business, and that's really helping me get my spark back for roleplaying.

I'm hungry. I should go get some food and then work on that, before we leave for the concert.

My username comes from the pen name I thought up when I first started writing fanfiction and things online. It comes from one of my favorite Sailor Senshi (Jupiter) with my favorite Ronin Warrior (Halo). I've been using this name for pretty much everything since I was in the 7th grade. xD

Anyway, Jessie and I went to have a few drinks tonight at Elliot's, which was fun. I had my usual Very Foo Foo, and then something called a Tahitian Fantasy or something like that. It was made with rum, orange juice and pineapples, so it was very delicious. <3 It was cool hanging out with her and talking, since we've rarely gotten the chance to do that since she moved here. :D I hope that we can do it more often.

I've been rewatching Young Hercules over the past week, and I forgot just what an awesome show it is. xD While it has its corny moments, it has reaffirmed my love for Ryan Gosling (as seen in my new icon).

I'm also quite excited for March. Watchmen comes out next Friday, and I am so eager to see JDM sex up the screen. @o@ It's going to be an awesome movie. And Resident Evil 5 is released on Friday the 13th! This is probably the first game I've really anticipated coming out. Not to mention that Capcom has a totally wicked viral campaign for the game, including live-action trailers/short movies. The guy who plays Chris in these live-action promotions is so sexy. I would totally be all over him, if I ever met him or someone like him in real life. xDD

Speaking of men, they are such freaks. At least most of the ones around here... >_>;

I'm glad that I'm feeling a bit more like myself. I've been a bit unhappy for the last few days, but today I was able to mellow out a bit and have a mostly good day. I haven't been sleeping very well lately, which has probably added to it. In fact, I stayed up until 2:30/3 last night because I couldn't sleep. So, hopefully my mood swing (or whatever it is) will go away during the weekend.

I'm sad that my dad and I aren't going to lunch tomorrow, but we can always catch up next Friday. :D

Okay, it should probably be bedtime now... or an attempted bedtime.

Edit: I totally forgot two more reasons why March is going to rock! Firstly, Supernatural is going to come back with new episodes on March 12th! @o@ Dean torturing people! Sam using his powers... again! More Ruby! To the last one I say, "Ewwwww..." xD

And secondly, Sonic and the Black Knight is released! Shadow in armor, with a sword, as Sir Lancelot... that's probably going to be one of the most awesome things I've ever seen. Too bad Amy isn't Guinevere, as that would totally make me support one of my OTPs even more. xD

Wheee! So, Friday was my birthday. :D I took the afternoon off from work and relaxed before meeting everyone for dinner at Woody's. At work, Debra made me a sign and bought me a cake, while Debbie and Darcie got me cards. x3 That definitely helped to counter the disappointment I felt when I got a call from the lady handling our rent application. According to her, we "make too much money" and so she can't approve us. T_T That's totally untrue, but at this point I don't even want to live there anymore. So! It's time to look for something else.

Dinner with everyone was really fun; I wasn't expecting so many people to actually show up! So, this birthday's definitely been one of the most fun that I've had.

Saturday, four of us headed down to Denver and went to the Museum of Nature and Science. It was a lot of fun! I haven't been to the museum since my... junior or senior year of high school. The Planetarium was awesome, along with the Dinosaur exhibit. xD The IMAX Dinosaur movie was such a letdown, though. After we finished at the museum, we went to two anime stores and the Park Meadows Mall (which is gigantic, by the way o_o). At the first anime store we went to, there was this annoying guy who kept hitting on me. xD; He even told me before I left that he thought I was really hot. o_O It was like "Uh yeah, awkward..."

But I did end up buying a lot of schist today. xD I got four new manga series to try out, a Aucifer single, and an Initial D thing (originally, we all thought that it was supposed to be a PC game, but it's really just a CD-ROM with information about the show and stuff). It came with a really cool dog tag! :D

So, I guess that everyone is doing a cosplay event at the mall today. xD It should be fun! I'm looking forward to the trivia part of the event. :D

Whew! Now that I have that out of the way... xD

I got my hair cut on Friday. It actually looks pretty good! They took about eight inches off, and I really like it short. Dark and short, that's how my hair should be. xD But yes, we did our Silent Hill party last night. And I have to say, I'm not very impressed with that game series so far. I think I'll stick with Resident Evil, because at least that scares me.

School's been going okay, although I wish I was done. Psychology has been really boring, and I want nothing more than to just give up on it. I got a 71.7% on our first test, but considering that the class average was 65%, I think I did pretty well. I just wish that it was December already.

EDIT: OMG. So. Tina's passenger side door is broken. xD It's locked and it won't open. So now it's like Joe's car, where you have to Dukes of Hazzard your way into the passenger side. Shannon's leg muscles apparently hurt from doing that so much yesterday. xD Needless to say, I'm amused.

So, el Cherry Blossom festival was good. A little more boring than I had expected, but it was fun hanging out with everybody. And I'm really starting to love Denver! I could definitely imagine living there and enjoying it.

And omg, Dave and Buster's! It is so much fun! I want to go again. ;o; I have over 3000 tickets to spend, but I need more! And apparently there's a place that's similar to Dave and Buster's called Ben and Jerry's a few miles south of it in Denver. Sheena told me so when I talked to her at work yesterday. xD It may be worth checking out.

And ack, gas is so expensive! ;o; Though, not as expensive as in Long Island. xD I had a lady named Jennifer call from there wanting some gas bucks; apparently, her friend is moving to Fort Collins and Jennifer's getting together some gift certificates from local restaurants and all that for her to take with when she moves. That is so sweet! If I ever move, I want someone to do that for me. But anyway! She asked me what the price of gas was, and I told her that I couldn't tell her, since there is apparently a law in Colorado forbidding gas stations to tell their prices over the phone. When I told her that, she was like "Oh well, I'm sure it's not as expensive as it is here. We're up to $4.50 a gallon." x_x

It's funny. I remember trading e-mails with Robby like... 8 years ago when I was vacationing in California with my family. He asked me what gas prices were and I told him that it was over $2 a gallon, and him freaking out in response. xD; Nowadays, it's like... I wish gas was only $2 a gallon. Amazing how times change.

Bah. I feel lame updating my LJ in a span of two days. xD; It's not like I really do anything. I pretty much just work and go home or go to school. I don't really hang out with my friends or anything like that; although, Joe seems to be determined to change that. I was supposed to go to Brush to see my family for Easter (even though I don't celebrate it), but I managed to get out of it since we're all going to the zoo on Sunday. I'm looking forward to it, even if it doesn't seem like it. xD I guess that I'm just lame and don't say or express what I'm really thinking... although I wish we were going to the museum instead. I hope I have fun. I'm seriously going to cry if I don't.

So, yeah, my relationship with Larry seems to have fizzled out. xD The last time we met up was so awkward; it was basically him asking me one question and staring at me blankly for the rest of the time. I ended up having to ask him questions just to get him to actually talk to me. At least Joe was on my side about it. xD: According to him, I should say "fuck it" and go find someone else. "You deserve much better, if he's going to be an asshole about it." It made me happy that he was defending me; I thought it would have been the other way around, seeing as how he's known Larry longer.

So, I guess I'm going to be staying the whole weekend at NDK after all. @_@ I'm giving it one more shot; hopefully third time is the charm and I'll have a lot more fun this year than I have the previous two years. It's been kind of awkward, as I was totally miserable these past two years. I guess that as a last resort, I can always bring my laptop and internet thingy in case the same thing happens this year. There are times at NDK I wish that I drove myself so I could just go home when I wanted to, but... xD Well, we'll just see how things go.

Dropping Matsumoto, because there's no point if I don't have a Gin. And I was briefly considering doing Hiro again, but... no. I sucked as him, so I really don't want to have to go through that torture again. Other than that, I really can't think of any cosplays that I can do.

Been feeling kind of bleh, to be honest. The only good thing about the past few days is that Angie's been cheering me up with Kensei/Risa love. They make me go "x333".
