After a few days of unsuccessfully trying to install the copy of Windows 7 I purchased, I've decided to give up for now and go back to Vista. xD When and if I decide to install it again, I may need to take my laptop to Best Buy or some other professional so they can see what's exactly wrong with my computer.

Anyway! Not much has been happening... school sucks. I'm totally rebelling against my online class, which is bad. I need it to graduate and move on. But I'm finding out that I really need classroom contact and an actual instructor to learn from. :| I'm thinking about dropping it and just putting off my graduation from Front Range for another semester, so I can go ahead and take it on campus. I'll look and see if I can drop it now and get a refund.

Speaking of money, we got our quarterly bonuses on Friday! 8D That was quite a blessing, seeing as how I was in desperate need of funds. I put $500 in my savings account, which is over half of my bonus, and placed the rest in my checking. Hopefully that $500 will stay there, unless I have an emergency and need to spend it.

Rob Thomas concert on Tuesday and the Regina Spektor concert on my birthday! I swear, I've been to more concerts in the last month than I have all year. ALH also had their first public Fort Collins performance last night. Despite a few sound problems, they sounded great! Everyone in the crowd really had an awesome time, it seems like.

Man. My birthday's in less than two weeks, and I still have no idea what I want to do for it.

You know, I think this is the most I've updated my LJ in a week's time... ever. Kind of awesome! But also kind of peyote.

Man. I've done almost nothing since I got home. xD Here's been my day, in review:

I worked a nine hour shift today (it was Payables day today). I got everything done, but it took fricking forever. Man, I hate Payables day. At least it only comes once a month.

After work, I went and got dinner, then ate it while I watched some episodes of Supernatural. I was planning on taking a nap and then starting the homework I need to do after that.

I got the nap in, and I've been looking at my Accounting homework since about 8:00 p.m. Is it done? No. Has it even been started? ...No.

I did do one productive thing, though. I finished tagging all of the entries in my LJ. xD Looking back through some of them makes me cringe. I don't like the person I used to be, and I wonder if I'm still that person. I think that, if I had the chance, I would go back and change things. Decisions, people, events... I think that I would try to do things differently.

Homework time now, I think. Or maybe a shower first.

Back from NDK. 8D I'm going to have to make this short, since I'm tired and about ready to go to bed.

I had a lot of fun this weekend. The con itself was bleh; definitely not the best I've been to. However, it was nice to get away from work and school and be with my friends. It was especially nice to see some who I haven't seen since Wasabi back in March.

Great. I have a feeling that this entire week will be like today was.

Oh, Caboose. xD I love that. "Now we're back to square one: scary square." I rewatched Red vs. Blue: Reconstruction tonight when I should have made myself useful by cleaning, or... ummm, filling out this paper for work, or sleeping. Mostly cleaning, though. Much love for Agent Washington.

I didn't expect it to actually happen, but my boss at work is actually going to do our reviews tomorrow and Thursday, right before she goes on vacation for a week. When I hadn't heard anything since our meeting at the beginning of the month, I was beginning to doubt her. xD That's the paper I need to fill out for work; she wants our personal opinions on what the office as a whole is doing well/could improve on, and what we personally are doing well/could improve on. I don't want to fill it out. :| I wasn't nervous about it before, but now I feel it a little bit. Tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. is D-Day.

I did have a nice surprise waiting for me tonight. There is a new, gorgeous looking trailer for Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles out. yzak was wonderful enought to post it in her personal LJ and the comm she runs.

I cannot fucking wait for that game.

Oh man. I am so unbelievably tired. I went to bed at 10:30 last night, had trouble falling asleep, and woke up at 3 a.m. Finally got up at 5 and headed into work at 6:30, where I had a really stressful day. xD Even with that extra hour and a half, with no lunch, I still didn't get everything done that I wanted to. Although, I did finish about six days of retail today, so that was pretty awesome.

Supernatural starts officially next month! I'm very excited for season five, although I'll be down in Denver for NDK when it premieres.

Oh yeah! hyper_amychao and I saw this guy playing the trumpet in his car while driving today. Not only was he a retard, but he was also a douchebag. xD We tried to get a picture of it but we couldn't see the guy clearly in it.

Red vs. Blue is slowly taking over my life again. It's been nice getting back into the fandom (and actually seeing the majority of the series) after so many years of being away from it.

Also, I'm never trusting my dad and anything he says again. Ever.

I hope I don't feel so angry at people before the week is over.

Today was a pretty good day! I got a $905 paycheck, found a digital camera I liked (which came with a free 2 GB memory card) and I finished my summer school class with an A minus. :D

However, I did take a really nasty fall in the parking lot of Subway when I was on my lunch. xD My left hand has like... three Band-Aids on it to cover all of the damage. Some guys saw me eat it and were all concerned. I told them that my pride (and my poor, new cellphone) was the only thing hurt, and one of them was like "Yeah, I did the same thing earlier in the week and busted up my knee pretty badly!" At least I'm not alone in my clumsiness. Now my arms hurt like a mofo, though.

I am really tired. ._. I should start cleaning my room, though...

I have nothing else to do until I go to work in about fifteen minutes, so I'll make a quick LJ post. I've been trying to wake up earlier than my usual time; the plan is that I'm going to try and walk/jog/whatever for an hour before work, since that's really the only time I can do it. I think that the exercise will be good for me; my boss works out before she comes to work and she's always chipper. xD

I've been so unmotivated about exercising, though. At least I haven't gained any weight back, and I went down a size in clothes. :D Still at 12 pounds lost, which is really great. I think I'd be more eager to do something, if I had an iPod or some other kind of music player that I can use while I do it. However, money's been really tight lately. I think I'm going to have a little bit left over when I get paid on the 5th... but that's going towards pre-reg for NDK, the rest of my stuff for Setsuka and hopefully Maria, and things I need like food and gas.

I'm also considering just canceling the cable that we have. :| I think that I can count how many times I've actually watched TV with my fingers and still have a few left over. I don't really believe that I should keep paying for something that I'm not using, and it'd be an extra $10 a month that I'd save. I guess that I should talk to hyurasan and see if she'd mind paying for it, since she watches TV the most out of the three of us. But, since her sister's here, I don't really want to talk to her about money stuff until her family leaves.

On a brighter note, school is almost done with! I've gotten straight B's so far, and I'm really proud of myself. Class technically ends on the 6th, but if we pass the final project on the 4th, we don't need to take the final exam. x3 And then I get a small break before school starts for me again on the 25th. It won't be as bad, since I decided to drop Astronomy. I'm only taking three classes, and one of them ends on October 8th.

Work has also been going better. I've gotten a little more used to working at the front again, even though we get some really weird calls. xD Bobbie's getting surgery on August 20th, though. So I'll be working the front desk full-time until she hopefully comes back on the 31st. That'll be interesting, needless to say.

I've been feeling really irrationally angry lately. Maybe it's because I don't get as much sleep as I need. But either way, every day I wind up feeling so angry all the time. xD I really hope that goes away soon...

Bawww. I guess that I had better get to work now.

Today was a pretty fun day! :D

I helped brakish out at her work~ Old Town was having its sidewalk sale today, so LotP recruited me to sit outside with a bunch of sale stuff and try to entice people into coming and looking in the store. I don't know how good sales were today, but I had a lot of fun talking to people and all that. xD In fact, I'm going to try applying at LotP for Halloween; it'll be a good way to make some extra money and get more job experience and all that.

BUT. Here's the confusing part. I was sitting in the shade of the building almost all day. When the sun finally was able to reach my spot (at around 5-ish), it was covered by clouds a lot of the time; and LotP closes at 6 so it's not like I was out in the sun a lot. Yet, I'm still badly sunburned on my nose, chest and arms. xD I'm quite annoyed at that. It looks like I'll be borrowing hyper_amychao's aloe vera once she gets home.

Payday was today. It's nice having money again! Work was quite boring though, so I actually ended up writing the beginning of a fanfic. :D I wanted to work on it more today, but I didn't have enough time.

I may go to bed soon. It's waaaay past my bedtime. But first, have a meme. :D

So. Here's a breakdown of all of the things that's been happening in the last few days:

-I have to get up in about five and a half hours for work, and I've been sleeping like crap for the past few weeks to a month.

-Fight with roommate? Check.

-The cat peeing on everyone's shoes? Check.

-The cat peeing on the carpet in my room, as well as a pillow? Check.

-My fucking bed frame breaking when I sat down on it about 20 minutes ago? Check.

I'm not even going to bother getting a new bed frame, since I'm going to be moving back home in about five months. Shannon was nice enough to help me take apart my broken frame and put my mattresses on the floor. That'll do for the rest of our lease.

I just can't believe my luck lately.

Last night, I went to see Star Trek with brakish and hyper_amychao. I hadn't wanted to see it since it came out, since I'm not really into the whole live action sci-fi stuff. However, I will say that I was pretty impressed by it! I probably won't see it again in theaters, unless I go with another group, but I'll probably end up watching it on DVD once or twice. I thought that the reboot was really well done.

I also went to see Plasmacrash with brakish on Friday! I think they get better every time I see them. Joe only played three songs of their set, since he's still not feeling well, but those three songs he played with them sounded the best. Elite was a really awesome band, too, even though I was only able to stay for about two songs of their set. I want to see them again, all the way through.

Work was a total pain in the ass last week. We had Monday off, so that caused a lot of our work to pile up. I ended up working straight through, from 8-4 (and 7-almost 4:30 on Friday) without taking a lunch and just going home early in order to try and catch up from the weekend. And this next week is going to be even crazier, since I have to help one of my coworkers with one of her projects... and school also starts on Tuesday.

But! On a good note... I'm going to start riding my bike to work on the days that I don't have school, and I'm going to try and not drive as much as possible. So, if I need to go somewhere and it's within biking distance of the apartment, then I'm going to bike. I'm also going to buy a new iPod in June, since my old one isn't working. I'm also going to pay off my small bill and get that out of the way, before I start working on my loan. Hopefully, if I can stick to the budget that I've made for myself, I'll have my loan paid off by November/December. Then it's to work on my credit card debt.

This weekend isn't long enough! I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow. At least payday is on Wednesday. :D

Anyway! Not too much has been going on lately. Work has been slow, although I spent most of yesterday morning fixing Bobbie's mistakes from Friday. The RP front is slowly starting to get busy... I'm working on my app for station_square, and I'm going to reserve a character for Salkia when I get finished with my Shadow app. I don't have to worry about clairbourn anymore, even though that makes me feel kind of depressed. I still want to RP Arashi somewhere; I just need to find a game that seems right for him.

I got talked into seeing the Star Trek movie by Shannon. xD While I'm not a fan of the show or anything, I'll just take it as it is.

Hmmm... I thought that I had more to update about, but I guess not. Oh! Except for Supernatural. The season finale was awesome, although not as epic as I had imagined it. This next season should be great. :D Speaking of, much love for my new Supernatural moodtheme.

I most definitely prefer to stay up late~ I love playing games and watching movies and stuff until the sun comes up. :D Unfortunately, my schedule doesn't fit my preference, since I work 8-5 every weekday. But I tend to stay up until at least 1 or 2, anyway... and much later on the weekends. xD

So, no creepy texts from the creeper today. That was nice. And the Doodz doesn't have cancer~ x3

But, I also messed up on some of my work, so that made me sad for a while. It wasn't a big deal, though, so I got over it quickly. xD

Wheee~ So, I should be sleeping. In fact, I should have been sleeping hours ago. xD But I ended up staying at work until a little past 8 p.m., and then Shannon and I powered through 10 episodes of Death Note so I could finish the series.

I also got some of my room cleaned, and everything unpacked. Looked at some NDK pictures, and realized that I actually looked pretty good in my costumes this year! Hopefully, by next year, though, I shall be more photogenic. <3 Or something.

I'm still breaking even with my weight, so I guess that it's good that I didn't gain any at NDK. :3~

I still need to finish Supernatural. And get caught up on work. And school. So many things to do, when all I want to do is stay home and relax!

Well, I survived my first week of school and work. Even though it was pretty exhausting, it was really fun. xD My Psych teacher is really hilarious, and the class is looking to be easy. Yoga is also really fun; I'm enjoying it a lot!

I got my hair cut yesterday. Now I have fringe bangs and my split ends cut off. :D It was kind of amusing, though. The lady that was cutting my hair said that I had a chunk missing in the back. xD She asked me if anyone had played a joke on me and cut my hair, or if I'd gotten it snagged on something. But now my hair is the same length.

I also got farther on RE4 tonight! xD I've had that game almost two years, and I still haven't beaten it. I really need to keep going on it, as I'm pretty close to beating it.

I would definitely bring back Miracles. Only thirteen episodes were made, and seven of them weren't even shown on TV. There are still so many mysteries and layers that will never be discovered!

Anyway. Today was better (and getting that almost $900 paycheck helped too). I got my socks for Risa, and I'm feeling a little more confident in work. I kind of feel like I know what I'm doing a little more. Being all caught up definitely helps, too~

So I can enjoy the weekend worry-free!

So, my weekend hasn't even really been a weekend. xD Since I didn't get caught up during the week, even with Shannon's help, I went in yesterday and today to try and accomplish more stuff. And while I'm still not done, at least I'm in a good spot! All of the retail has been entered up to the 14th, so I just need to check it. That's definitely easier than entering the retail. While I'm still going to have to come in early tomorrow, at least I'm in a better place than I was.

And omg, I just had the most delicious piece of cake ever. xD I went to Genoa for lunch, after checking out NewWestFest (which totally sucked). I got a pizza bagel (which reminded me of my high school days...) and this piece of cinnamon cake. O.M.G. The cinnamon cake thing was excellent.

I just want to take it easy the rest of the day, but I know that I still have to try and find some new flats for work. >_> Ugh, I guess I should go do that...

So, it's official. Diane doesn't like doing A/P stuff, and she would rather just stick to doing reception stuff up at the front. Deanna didn't want to switch over, either, since she likes what she's doing.

That means... I'm going to be doing the whole thing. Yep, I'm going to be the new Accounts Payable person for Schrader Oil as of Wednesday, August 13th. Dalena's last day is the 12th, and so I have to get all of my training finished in three days. At least I have a lot of people willing to help me out. If I get stuck, I can always have Sheena help me.

Darcie thinks that this may come with another pay raise. That would be pretty awesome. :D
